Hi I’m Stu
At present I own two VWs.

One is a 1991 white polo. The other is “Mikey” a 1973 bay window camper. The Watkins family have owned“Mikey” for just over a year & what a year it has been.

For 10 months we have battled oil leaks, fuel leaks, MOT failures, etc.

On the way to Jog to the fog (run to the sun), the window screen smashed in the rain 10 miles from Watergate bay! Leaving us stranded at the campsite for 4 days!

On the way back from this years Jog to the fog (run to the sun), the engine gave up 10 miles from home. After 9 weeks at Danny Fox’s workshop“Mikey” finally came home in time for Beach Buggin!

All this aside we haven't missed a show, if“Mikey” could not go then the Polo went, & boy did we get some funny looks on show stands!
What a year! What fun! What shows! What people & friends!

My 8 year old daughter Emily is VW mad! Emily loves everything VW, when we are at shows she takes over the club stand & organises the troops!
Everyone in the club is convinced that Emily will someday soon take over from Trevor as chairman!
