Oil Bottle Tip

If, like any VW I've ever had, you find you need regular oil top-ups, and don't like to keep a combination of a full bottle of oil and funnel in the boot of the car - then there is an alternative. Most of the supermarkets sell 1 litre bottles of flavoured spring water, with tapered tops that are perfect oil bottles for your VW. Since they hold 1 litre (about 2 pints or 1 quart) they can hold a perfect amount for even the thirstiest of VW engines. The bottle´s shape is also perfect for inserting into the oil refill cap without spillage. Now - on long journeys - I don't have half the boot taken up with oil paraphernalia.
