letter from OZ HELLO THERE!
My name is Ray Willis and I am a member and on the committee of the VOLKSWAGEN CLUB OF WESTERN AUSTRALIA (INC). One of my jobs is EDITOR of our monthly news magazine ViaWest. Having come across your website I am interested in using information and photos. I found it while researching the Enzmann 506, and your articles would make interesting reading for our members. We are a non-profit organisation and cannot pay for any rights. I would also be interested if the permission could be extended to any future information and photos yet to be placed on your site. Our magazine has a distribution of about 130 copies per month - we are not an overly large club. We would clearly show the credit and copyright of the articles to your club and magazine. Unfortunately our magazine or the articles are not kept on our website. I am an owner of a new beetle and have attached a photo for you. It is the Swan River and City of Perth in the background. It is a 2.0 litre motor with 5-speed manual gearbox and optional sunroof and 17" wheels with 225 Pirelli Tyres. Note one style of our states 'personal plates' on my car - RW my initials and 056 representing my year of birth. I have recently changed these for our "club plates" and it is now "VWBTLE1" - see sample attached on how our club plates look - yes they are real rego plates. I look forward to your affirmitive reply to my request above. Ray Willis Events Coordinator / Editor / Committee Member Volkswagen Club of WA (inc) www.vwclub.asn.au ..of course I gave the guy permission, good to see the magazine getting international recognition - ed. |
