Abt New Beetle

When it first came on the market, the New Beetle aroused the interest of many motorsport companies, who improved the in-depth mechanics, but also its look, with great attention to ailerons and bodywork. But the New Beetle also lends itself very well to retro fashioning, given its ancestry with the Beetle (Coccinelle or Ladybird in France).

As the pictures show from the German racing and tuning company Abt. Their New Beetle evokes its famous ancestor, thus it features chrome bumpers with overriders, affixed over the originals, the Horn grills - reproducing those of the original bug and Chrome hubcaps and headlight eyebrows, alongside the chrome scratch guards at the rear. Also at the rear, this conversion features the rear hatch with louvered air intakes and finally masked-glass, cut out to resemble the first split rear window Ladybug.

One also notes the superb 17 inches alloy wheels, whose look evokes old street wheels.
