Bug to go to Brazil

I have just confirmed this morning that the rumour is true, VW Mexico is seriously talking about moving air cooled Beetle production to Brazil to make room for more modern auto production.

This could be possible since Mexico stopped producing the Bus 3 years ago. Water cooled Buses are now produced on the same line as the Brazilian air-cooled. Paint and chrome qualities have decreased and to be honest I thought that the Brazilian Beetle was very shoddy, poor door fit, misaligned

body panels, and low quality paint jobs. I would hope that quality would improve after this. I will keep you informed if it actually does happen.
