It's Good to Talk

Since this article the club has formed a fully interactive and very lively forum at http://www.ltv-vwc.org.uk/chat/

As many of you will know, the club has its own e-mail based talk forum, ltv_chatter@egroups.com. This excellent VW resource has been live for a few months now and is attracting members and non members alike.

If you are after a decent garage in your area, trying to get that elusive part, or trying to figure out that problem that's nagging your Volkswagen, then chatter is the place you can find an answer. With close to 1000 members, an increasing part of whom are joining the chatter group there is an answer out there to just about anything.

Of course, the group can also be there for social get togethers. You can talk to members in your area, keep a look out for that yellow van you now know is a fellow enthusiast in your locality, or even trawl for dubbers in your area and arrange a pub meet next season. It can all happen through this forum.

But how do I get access? It's simple, just point your browser at the club website, www.ltv-vwc.org.uk and click on the chatter button at the left. From there you will see the submit screen. All you have to do is enter your e-mail address and from that point on your e-mail program will begin receiving chatter e-mails, to any one of which you can post, reply and generally contribute.

So go on, get involved, ask for some help or give advice, or maybe get a little social going. Its your club, and with the chatter forum we can bring it all that bit closer together.
