Audi at Le Mans

Audi began the warm-up trials for the Le Mans
24 Hours in fine style with the three "open-top" Audi R8s finishing
the opening practice in first, second and third places.
Despite the 8.45-mile track being dirty and
slippery throughout the first two-hour trial, the Audi Sport Team Joest
R8s topped the unofficial time sheets after a dominant display.
Audi Head of Sport Dr Wolfgang Ullrich confirmed:
"All three cars ran without problems this morning. The only disappointment
was that the track was slippery caused by dirt and then oil later. This
morning we ran different programmes on all three cars and everything worked
well which we hope continues in to this afternoon."
Le mans is on June 18th, so by the time you
get this it will be looming up (I hope!). Lets hope Audi do really well.
