Letter from
Fitzy
Dear All
Firstly,
I would like to congratulate you all on your new positions. I'm sure
I speak for the majority of all the members when I say, that prior
to your letter (+ the new look wheelspin LOVELY) arriving,
we were all in a state of limbo, as to whether or not our beloved club
existed anymore.
Im a
proud owner of a 79 T2 in bright orange and white called Aimée
(after my 2 year old). Ive enclosed a photo of the pair of them,
so that you can see, just how proud I really am.
Thanks to THE CLUB for putting the advertising and film
people in touch with me, my T2 has been the centre of a few projects
i.e. Sony Wega advert prior to Christmas, Barrett shoe shops main window
displays in February and a couple of film deals in the pipe line. Without
the club, none of this would have been possible.
Ive attended no meetings or events in the 13 months I've been
a member, due to getting a new business off the ground. My T2 has only
done 220 miles in the first 12 months of my membership; and that was
for a mad mercy dash to France for fags and beer.
Now
that my business is running a little smoother, I have managed 400 miles
in the past month. Therefore I am determined to attend as many events
as possible this year. And if there is anything I can be of assistance
with in the future, please do not hesitate to contact me. However, my
daughter and myself normally come as pair, as she will not let me take
HER van out without her. But she can be extremely helpful as well.
This
was only supposed to be a short note of thanks and its starting to look
like its turning into my autobiography. Ive still got to drop
a line to the Run to the Total Eclipse team. So I'll leave
it here and hopefully see you all very soon. Thanks again
Fitzy
