VW's "New" Rolls

While VW have no plans to mass produce this
car, they are using the creation of mechanic Dave Minall at a German Motor
show to represent the merger between VW and Rolls Royce. The owner caught
the attention of the men at Wolfsburg after winning awards at 14 custom
car shows. Dave was given the 1979 Beetle from his father and used it
as a daily driver for 10 years. Then he went for this radical conversion,
which includes a whole front made to replicate the Rolls Royce Silver
Shadow. The plush interior is from a 1970s Alfa Romeo, the front headlights
from a 50s Singer Vogue and the tail lights from a Hillman Hunter. It
retains its 1600 engine but sports wider wings to incorporate the wide
16" alloys.
So which car club does Dave belong to, a VW,
Rolls Royce, Hillman or Singer club?
